Community Organising, Refugees Welcome, the Living Wage, and much more.

Who we are
Citizens UK is a people power alliance of diverse local communities working together for the common good.

What we do
Community Organising is a method of social change with a rich history in the US Civil Rights movement and a 30-year track record here in the UK. Our approach is to use Community Organising to build diverse alliances of local communities, capable of making change on a range of issues for the long-term.

Our projects
Our projects, grown out of the many successful campaigns our members have created, help underrepresented groups, like low-paid workers, refugees and new parents win justice, settle into our communities and achieve change.

Our podcast
Everyday People Making Change tells the iconic stories of Citizens UK leaders taking action and winning change in their communities. From millions of pounds in mental health funding, to a new Hate Crime Charter and a pay increase for over 5000 workers.

Our staff
Citizens UK staff is a group of multidisciplinary and passionate professionals deeply committed to promoting social justice in the UK using the Community Organising method.
