Citizens UK and Impact on Urban Health are looking for an evaluation partner to assess the progress of a joint project to improve housing conditions

Citizens UK and Impact on Urban Health are looking for an Evaluation Partner to assess the progress of a joint project to improve housing conditions

Citizens UK and Impact on Urban Health are working in partnership to improve housing conditions—and, in turn, physical and mental health—through community organising in South London, with a focus on Southwark and Lambeth. We are seeking an evaluation partner to help us assess the progress and impact of this work over the next year, with key reflection points both midway through the two-year project and at its conclusion.

We are looking for an evaluator to help us understand how community organising can drive equitable housing policy, improve wellbeing, and build power with those directly affected by housing injustice. The evaluation will support shared learning, helping us to reflect on what’s working, what’s not, and why—shaping future practice and programmes.

We are keen to work with a partner who shares our values and brings experience in participatory, creative evaluation methods. We want the evaluation to be accessible and meaningful to a wide range of audiences, including community leaders, partners, and decision-makers.

About the project

This project, already underway, is a collaboration between South London Citizens and Impact on Urban Health. It focuses on building the leadership, voice, and agency of residents facing housing injustice—whether in private rented homes, social housing, or temporary accommodation—to lead campaigns for lasting change.
