Gift Aid Declaration

If you are a UK Taxpayer and would like Citizens UK to treat all donations that you have made in the past 4 years and all donations that you make from the date of this declaration as Gift Aid donations* please tick the box below.

*NB. You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax in each tax year (6th April to 5th April) at least equal to the tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs that you donate to will reclaim on your donations for that tax year (25p on every £1 you give).

Please notify us if you no longer pay sufficient tax, want to cancel this declaration, or change your name or home address.

If you pay a higher tax rate, you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return.

We handle your data with care, see our Privacy Policy for more on how.

Membership

If you're involved in one of the hundreds of institutions in membership of a local Citizens UK chapter, this means you're already a member.

So that we know this is the case, and to give you access to all the benefits of membership on this website, please select the institution that you are a part of from the applicable survey here.

If you are part of a civil society institution and are interested in this institution becoming a member of Citizens UK, find out more about joining here.

If you are not involved in a civil society institution, the good news is that as an individual, you can become an Associate Member. Associate Members are entitled to participate in national Citizens UK campaigns at a local level wherever there is not already a local Citizens UK chapter.

Associate Membership is by annual subscription. Although you don’t have to pay any more than £1 per year, we encourage you to consider paying the UK Living Wage rate of £8.45, or the London Living Wage rate of £10.20 or more if you can afford it.

Fill in the form on this page to become an Associate Member today.

And if you are already part of a dues-paying Citizens UK member institution, while there’s no need to become an Associate Member, you are still invited to give to us regularly to further support our work.
