Birmingham commonwealth games assembly

In December 2017 Birmingham was announced as the 2022 host of the Commonwealth Games.

Delighted with the news of this great sporting and cultural opportunity coming to our region of the UK, we will be hosting a celebration event as our Spring Assembly for 2018 and launch our campaigns for a games assembly to tackle low pay, child poverty and housing issues in our great city.

On Wednesday 7th March 2018, 5pm – 7pm in the Town Hall, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B3 3DQ, up to 900 people from across civil society institutions in the region will be coming together to congratulate city leaders and celebrate the news of the impending arrival of the Games.

The evening will not be a public meeting nor a political hustings. We have a limited number of public tickets available on request.

If you would like to register your interest to attend this event and secure a ticket, please sign up on this page and we will write back to confirm your ticket.
