Relational Meetings with Community Leaders
by Citizens UK Organisers in 2016:
7461
Citizens UK Community Organisers aim to meet 15 community leaders or
potential leaders every week - to find out what makes them tick, what makes them angry, and
what they would like to change about their neighbourhood.
These individual meetings are the building blocks for all our work.
People who have taken action
with Citizens UK in 2016:
14839
Citizens UK aims to get people more active in public life on issues that they care about.
We say that 'action is to community organisations as oxygen is to the body'.
In other words, organisations should take action regularly or they end up moribund.
