Protect the Children of Calais: Bring the 387 Home

The Calais “Jungle” camp is due to be demolished within weeks putting over a thousand children in more terrible danger.

At least 387 children have a legal right to seek sanctuary in the UK. All must be protected.

Three children who were eligible to come to the UK have died already attempting to make the crossing themselves. We cannot allow any more to remain at risk.

We’re calling on Theresa May to grant the 387 safe passage to the UK before it’s too late.

The UK is guilty by association for these child refugees – we sell the arms and ammunition that allow the wars that create the refugees. We must take responsibility for these children and give them safe passage it is the least we should do.

Dear Prime Minister, We know that already the Calais camp is being cleared – at last – but the fate of many unaccompanied children

remains horribly uncertain. Please USE the goodwill of so many in this country to make room for them here. “I was a stranger . . .”

    Sincerely, Lucia Turner

Children deserve a better future than constantly living in fear and wondering what is going to happen to them next.Common humanity calls out to us to help in whatever way we can
