We will be holding a public action and photocall in support of the Syrian Vulnerable Person Resettlement Scheme.
We warmly welcome attendees from the Refugee Welcome movement to Citizens UK's evening's action.
The event starts at 6.30pm (registration and drinks from 6pm), if you are a guest of Citizens UK or from a member institution please register below if just attending this part of the day.
The event will celebrate refugee resettlement to-date, update attendees what we are doing to help make the UK a more welcoming country and launching our campaign to extend the Vulnerable Person Relocation Scheme (VPRS) beyond 2020 so that British communities and Councils are able to welcome more people fleeing violence and conflict. We will also engage with a senior member of the Home Office on their plans and how we might help.
This will all end by 20.30 with an Evaluation and Buffet Supper together. Delegates can depart after 21.00.
We are really looking forward to seeing you on June 29th.
